Compacting

Technologies for optimal compaction

Avermann compaction technology comes in three different versions. Traditional high-frequency compaction requires the addition of external agitators, and compaction is achieved at high rotation speeds (frequency) and low deflection (amplitude). High-frequency compaction is very effective, but also means high noise emissions.

Agitation technology is characterised by its very low frequency but simultaneously very high amplitude. A very effective method for flat concrete elements, such as precast ceilings, double wall elements and massive walls with thicknesses up to approximately 20 cm. Noise emissions with this process are so low that no soundproofing is required.

So-called surface compaction is a special form of compaction technology. Here, lightweight concrete is both compacted and shaped by actuating a smoothing roller.
